Have you ever wondered wouldn’t it be better if every document I worked on was saved to the Cloud without me having to copy or move it there, wouldn’t it be nice if my Default Save As location was OneDrive for Business? Well, you can and it’s easy.
What we need to show you is how to re-direct your Standard Folders like My Documents, Pictures, Videos and Music to OneDrive for Business and arguably OneDrive consumer edition, Dropbox or Google Drive. So, when you save to My Documents, Videos, Pictures, Music these actually automatically save to OneDrive for Business and are thus synchronised safely to the Cloud where you receive the benefits of backups and file versioning.
Essentially, inside your own OneDrive for Business folder create FOUR new folders called:
Then, go find the default folders on your machine, Right Click, go to Properties, choose Location and navigate to the folder you created earlier. Choose Select Folder and click Apply and OK all the way back.
